This product is a good fit for me for rehydration due to Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Short Gut Syndrome. I really appreciate that there isn't extra color, etc, that other products add for entertainments sake. I don't want the extra 'stuff' in my body. I find it very easy to drink without seeming excessively sugary, which my body and my teeth really appreciate.

I bought these for a trip where I knew I'd be indulging in a lot of drinking and sun. These were very handy. The taste wasn't wonderful, but they seemed to replenish much needed electrolytes.

I'm so grateful that I read an article about Jennifer Aniston using this product. That's what got me curious about it to look into it. After visiting the companies website I was very interested and all the Amazon.com reviews sold me on the product. I was using Gatorade before to help with dehydration caused by medication and diet issues/illness. In the last couple of years, however, it seems that Gatorade is more sugar water and I liked that this product does not have sugar and has more electrolytes. It works and tastes good, when chilled. It's too tart for me if not chilled a bit. I have recommended this product to practically everyone I know.

I bought this specifically for drinking. I am on of those people that 4 beers can make me have an awful headache the next day, sometimes evenust one glass of wine can give me a headache. I normally drink gatorade. I've even tried pedialyte, which seemed to help a lot but the taste was awful. It's so sweet, it was like drinking syrup. I researched trying to find pedialyte for adults, hoping to find a less sweet version and came across these. I just bought the 4pack first, to see if it was worth spending $30 on the 25 pack. I'm already almost out. No matter many drinks I have, I always make one of these before going to bed and it's a lifesaver. I'm sure these would be great for being out in the sun too and getting dehydrated. I've travelled loads and actually never gotten sick travelling (knock on wood), but I'll definitely be taking these in case it ever happens. Definitely worth the money, super convenient. They are less than buying bottles of gatorade, so I don't think the price is unreasonable.

It takes 7 to 9 days to hike to Everest Base Camp in Nepal and then 3 days to hike back down. Base camp is 17,500 feet and altitude sickness is a real threat. I knew the hike would be intense and that I would need some sort of electrolyte product to help keep me hydrated, replace the electrolytes I was losing, and fight off altitude sickness. The RecoverORS packets did the trick better than I ever imagined!

Before the trip, I tried other electrolyte products (Gaterade, NUUN, and OSMO hydration), but I didn't like the taste and they just didn't seem to help all that much. After a lot of research I stumbled across RecoverORS. I know it doesn't specifically say "for hiking and altitude sickness" but it did mentioned "extreme sports" so I decided to give them a try. Every day on the base camp trek, I would mix two packets in my 1 liter (32 oz) Nalgene bottle every morning and than again in the afternoon. I drank 1 liter of RecoverORS and 1 liter of water before noon and then did the same in the afternoon. At that altitude and with the type of hiking we were doing, staying hydrated is so important and makes all the difference in the world. I made it to Base Camp and have used RecoverORS again doing the 26 miles Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru and in all of my training hikes. I like the taste and I like how it makes me feel. It's definitely worth trying!

I have an IBD so hydration is a constant concern for me. I was looking for an alternative to Pedialyte and stumbled onto this product. Glad I did! The taste is something like slightly watered down lemonade, I find it very pleasant.

Also, great customer service. I ordered the 25-pack and got the 4-pack by mistake. I sent an email and that same day they sent a replacement order, no problem, even threw in some bonus packs. Will definitely be ordering again.

I have used this for recovering from plane flights, traveller's diarrhea. The taste is much less tart than Propel. In comparison, it's almost bland. An unanticipated benefit was it's effectiveness against low levels of restless legs. Although I have normal ferretin levels, I still get restless legs (RLS) intermittently. I took one packet, and within an hour it was gone. Don't know what the clinical basis might be, except electrolyte imbalance. A friend who has severe RLS was NOT helped by this, so it's not a panacea for RLS.

I started doing Bikram again after a 3 year lay off. For those unfamiliar, it is a 90 minute yoga class in a room heated to 105 F and 40% humidity. You sweat a lot and by that I mean ridiculous amounts of sweat. I normally go through 1 liter of water in class and 1 liter right after class. Normally I mix in coconut water and Emergen-C packs. They help but I was still feeling like I was drained after classes. I needed something more. So after some research I tried these and I can definitely say that I have taken them after two classes which I did 2 days in a row. They really made a difference. Normally I would feel tired and lethargic, but when I took these the feeling was significantly mitigated. Regardless to say I am a convert and will be taking one after every class.

Regarding taste they are OK, don't expect Gatorade type quality but it is easy to chug down with some water. I wish they had a non-artificial sweetener version. I know stevia is considered natural, but it still tastes artificial to me.

Bottom line, if they can help after working out in a 105 F room for 1.5 hours then it is safe to say they work. Better than coconut water and better than sports drinks.
